This is not the update we were hoping to share.
We’ve always tried to stay positive, to hold onto hope, and to look for the small signs of improvement in Teddy’s journey. But today, we want to be honest with all of you who have been following, caring, and supporting him.
Teddy’s health is not good right now.
Over the past few days, we’ve noticed a decline. The little improvements we once celebrated have become harder to see. Teddy is more tired than before, spending most of his time resting. His movements are slower, and sometimes he seems too weak to even lift his head for long.
It’s been incredibly difficult to watch.
There are moments when he tries—moments when he looks at us, when his tail gives the faintest wag, when he leans into a gentle touch. But those moments are quieter now, and they don’t last as long.
We can feel that his body is struggling.
We’ve been in constant contact with the veterinary team, doing everything we can to support him. He is receiving care, medication, and close monitoring. The vets are doing all they can, and we are trusting them every step of the way.
But sometimes, even with all the care in the world, the road becomes uncertain.
And that’s where we are right now.
It’s hard to put into words what this feels like. There’s a mix of fear, sadness, and helplessness that comes with seeing someone you love go through something like this. You wish you could take their pain away, or trade places with them, or somehow make everything okay again.
But all we can do is be there.
And we are.
We stay close to Teddy, speaking softly, offering comfort, letting him know he is not alone. Every touch, every word, every quiet moment is filled with love.
Roo has been different too. She stays near him, calmer than usual, as if she understands that this is not a time for play but a time for presence. She watches over him in her own gentle way, never too far, never too loud.
It’s a kind of love that doesn’t need words.
We know many of you are wondering what comes next.
The truth is… we don’t fully know yet.
We are taking it one moment at a time, listening to the vets, and most importantly, watching Teddy—because he will show us what he needs. Our focus is on his comfort, his peace, and making sure that no matter what happens, he feels safe and deeply loved.
So today, we are asking for your support again.
Not just in happy moments, but in the difficult ones too.
Please keep Teddy in your thoughts. Send him your strength, your kindness, your prayers. It may seem small, but to us, it means everything. It reminds us that we are not alone in this, and that Teddy is surrounded by more love than we could ever measure.
This is a hard update to share.
But it’s also a reminder of how much Teddy means—not just to us, but to all of you who have been following his story.
Teddy is still here.
Teddy is still fighting.
And we are still holding onto hope.
No matter what happens, one thing will never change:
Teddy is loved beyond words. 🐶❤️
