Update: Teddy Is Relieved, Everyone.

We’ve been waiting for this moment to share some good news—and finally, we can say it:

Teddy is feeling relieved.

After days that felt long, heavy, and uncertain, we’re starting to see a change in him. It’s not a big, dramatic transformation all at once—but it’s there, in the small moments that mean everything.

And for the first time in a while, we can breathe a little easier.

Over the past weeks, Teddy has been through a lot. From the first signs that something wasn’t right, to the hospital visits, the tests, and the quiet recovery days—it’s been a journey filled with worry, patience, and hope.

There were moments when he seemed so tired. Moments when his energy faded, and his bright personality felt distant. Watching him go through that was incredibly difficult.

But today feels different.

Teddy is more relaxed.

You can see it in the way he rests—not with discomfort, but with calm. His body seems lighter, less tense. The look in his eyes has softened, and there’s a peacefulness there that we’ve been missing.

He’s still healing, but he’s no longer struggling in the same way.

And that changes everything.

When we visited him, something felt new. He lifted his head a little quicker, recognized us immediately, and—most importantly—his tail gave a gentle, steady wag. It wasn’t rushed or weak. It was real.

It was Teddy.

That one small moment filled our hearts with so much relief.

Because it told us something important:

He’s feeling better.

Not completely back to normal yet—but better. And right now, that’s more than enough.

The veterinary team has also shared encouraging updates. Teddy is responding well to care, and his condition is stabilizing. The treatments are helping, and his body is starting to recover the way we hoped it would.

We’re still taking things step by step.

There’s no rushing this process. Healing takes time, and we want to make sure Teddy gets all the rest and care he needs. But now, instead of fear, we’re holding onto something stronger:

Hope.

Roo has noticed the difference too. When she sees Teddy now, she’s calmer, gentler, as if she understands that he’s coming back but still needs space. There’s a quiet happiness in the way she stays close, like she’s welcoming him back one moment at a time.

And as for us, our hearts feel lighter.

We’re still careful. Still watching. Still making sure everything is going in the right direction. But the weight of uncertainty has lifted, even if just a little.

So to everyone who has been asking, supporting, and sending love—

This is your update.

Teddy is relieved.
Teddy is improving.
Teddy is on his way back.

Your messages, your prayers, your kindness—it has all meant more than we can ever fully express. Through the hardest moments, it reminded us that we weren’t alone.

And maybe, in some way, Teddy felt that too.

So thank you for being part of his journey.

The road isn’t over yet, but it feels brighter now. And we’re moving forward with more strength, more belief, and more love than ever before.

Teddy is strong.
Teddy is healing.
And Teddy is finally finding comfort again. 🐶❤️
