Update! Why Does Teddy Miss Everyone?

We’ve been receiving so many messages asking about Teddy lately, and one question keeps coming up again and again:

“Why does Teddy look like he misses everyone?”

It’s something we’ve noticed too. There’s a quietness in him right now—a softness that wasn’t there before. Teddy has always been full of life, the kind of dog who lights up a room just by walking into it. But lately, he’s been different.

So today, we want to share what’s really going on.

Over the past few days, Teddy has been spending time at the hospital for observation and recovery. It hasn’t been easy for him. Being in a new place, surrounded by unfamiliar sounds, smells, and people, can be overwhelming—especially for a dog who is used to being at home, surrounded by love.

And that’s where the feeling comes from.

Teddy isn’t just tired…
Teddy misses everyone.

He misses the comfort of home—the soft spot where he likes to rest, the familiar routine, the little moments that make him feel safe. He misses Roo, who would normally be right beside him, nudging him to play or simply keeping him company.

Most of all, he misses the people who love him.

When we visit him, you can see it in his eyes. There’s a spark of recognition, a gentle wag of his tail, and that quiet look that says everything without a single sound. It’s as if he’s asking, “When can I come home?”

And every time, it’s hard to leave.

But we remind ourselves that he’s there for a reason. He’s getting the care he needs, the attention that will help him heal and get stronger. The veterinary team has been incredible, making sure Teddy is comfortable and supported every step of the way.

Still, even with the best care in the world, nothing replaces the feeling of being home.

So, why does Teddy miss everyone?

Because he loves deeply.

Dogs don’t just form connections—they build bonds that are strong, loyal, and unbreakable. Teddy has always been surrounded by warmth, laughter, and companionship, and being away from that—even for a short time—can feel like a big loss to him.

But there’s something beautiful in that too.

The fact that he misses everyone means he knows he’s loved. It means he has something worth missing—a home, a family, a life filled with care and affection.

And the good news is… this isn’t forever.

Teddy is getting stronger every day. The time at the hospital is helping him recover, and each step forward brings him closer to coming back where he belongs.

Back to his bed.
Back to Roo.
Back to all of you.

Until then, we’re doing everything we can to remind him that he’s not alone. We visit, we talk to him, we stay close as much as possible. And every time, he shows us that he’s holding on.

So yes—Teddy misses everyone.

But soon, very soon…
He won’t have to anymore.

Thank you for all the love, support, and kind messages. It truly means the world to us and to Teddy.

He’s strong. He’s healing.
And he’s coming home soon. 🐶❤️
