Will Teddy Have Surgery?

It’s a question that’s been weighing heavily on our hearts lately… one we never imagined we’d be asking.

Over the past few days, something about Teddy has felt different. Not dramatically, not in a way that immediately alarms you—but in those small, quiet ways only someone who truly knows her would notice. The playful energy isn’t quite as strong. The excitement in her eyes comes and goes. And sometimes, she just seems… tired.

At first, we tried to brush it off. Maybe it’s just a slow day. Maybe she needs rest. But when those moments started happening more often, we knew we couldn’t ignore them.

So we reached out for help. After speaking with the vet and beginning the process of checking her condition, one word came up that instantly changed everything—surgery.

Will Teddy have surgery?

Right now, the truth is… we don’t know yet.

The vet is still running tests, observing her condition, and trying to understand what’s really going on. There are possibilities, but nothing is certain. And that “not knowing” is the hardest part. It leaves you in a space between hope and fear, where every small change feels bigger than it is.

Teddy, as always, is trying her best. She doesn’t understand the situation, but she feels the shift. She stays close, seeking comfort, leaning into us as if she knows we’re her safe place. And in those moments, you realize just how deep that bond truly is.

She trusts us completely.

And that makes this even harder.

Because if surgery becomes necessary, it means putting her through something difficult—something she won’t fully understand. But at the same time, if it’s what she needs to get better, how can we say no? It’s a decision that comes from love, but it doesn’t make it any less painful to think about.

We’ve been spending as much time with her as possible. Sitting beside her. Talking to her softly. Watching her every move, hoping to see signs that everything is okay. Sometimes she gives us that reassurance—a small wag of her tail, a gentle nudge, a moment where she feels like her usual self again. And in those moments, hope feels stronger.

But then the questions return.

Will Teddy have surgery?

We’re holding onto the belief that whatever happens, it will be for her best. We trust the vet, we trust the process, and most importantly, we trust Teddy’s strength. She has always been more resilient than she looks, facing challenges with a quiet courage that continues to amaze us.

Still, this is one of those moments where love feels both beautiful and heavy at the same time.

We know so many of you care deeply about Teddy. You’ve followed her journey, shared in her happiest moments, and stood by during the more emotional ones. That’s why we’re sharing this with you now—because you’re part of her story too.

And right now, she needs all the love she can get.

So if you’re reading this, please take a moment to send Teddy your thoughts, your prayers, your positive energy. Whether it’s a comment, a kind word, or simply keeping her in your heart—it all matters.

Because even though we don’t have all the answers yet, one thing is certain…

Teddy is not alone.

No matter what the outcome is, no matter what decisions lie ahead, we will be right here with her—supporting her, protecting her, and loving her every step of the way.

Will Teddy have surgery?

We’ll know soon.

Until then, we hold onto hope… and to the incredible love that surrounds her ❤️
