Right now, Teddy is facing some health issues.
Over time, we began noticing small changes in him. At first, they were easy to overlook—a little less energy, a bit more rest than usual, quieter moments where he would simply lie down and observe instead of jumping into the action. Like anyone who loves their dog, we hoped it was nothing serious. Maybe he was just tired. Maybe it was just a phase.
But those little signs slowly grew into something we couldn’t ignore.
Teddy hasn’t been quite himself lately. The playful spark that once defined him has softened. His movements are slower, his energy lower, and his days seem more focused on rest than activity. It’s a subtle change, but when you know Teddy the way we do, it feels significant.
Watching this has been incredibly difficult.
Teddy isn’t just a pet—he’s part of our family, our daily routine, and our emotional world. He’s been there through everything, offering comfort without words and love without limits. And even in the middle of all this, Teddy continues to show us his strength.
It’s in the way he still looks at us with trust. The way he leans in when he wants comfort. The small tail wags, the quiet presence—those moments remind us that he’s still here, still fighting in his own gentle way.
